Senate Intelligence Committee Leaders on Russia and 2016 Election Investigation Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Richard Burr (R-NC) and Vice Chair Mark Warner (D-VA) provided an update on their investigation of Russia and the 2016 elections. They announced that several actions were being taken in response to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s decision to invoke his Fifth Amendment rights, including issuing subpoenas to Mr. Flynn’s two businesses.
