Jared Kushner is one of Donald Trump’s senior advisers and his son-in-law. He has been a real estate investor like his father Charles Kushner, a real-estate developer. He was the CEO of Kushner Companies, a real estate development and holding company, from 2008 until he accepted a senior White House adviser role in January 2017. He was the publisher of the Observer.

Contacts with Russians
Kushner had two phone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak between April and November 2016 yet did not disclose this on his clearance forms for White House senior adviser role.

Back Channel Communications
Kushner reportedly discussed setting up back channel communications with the Russians in a conversation with that included Michael Flynn

Jared and the Banker
Kushener met with  for a half-hour with Sergey Gorkov, head of the Russian state-owned bank Vnesheconombank. Gorkov is also an SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service) and FSB (Federal Security Service) graduate.

Investigations
In response to failure to disclose his communications with Kislyak and Gorkov, Kushner, the FBI launched an investigation. In addition, he has been called to testify to the Senate Intelligence Committee.
