Natalia Khusainovna Estemirova (Наталья Хусаиновна Эстемирова, 1958-2009) was a researcher for the Russian human rights organization Memorial in Grozny who documented abductions, torture, and extrajudicial killings in Chechnya, and a source and collaborator for Anna Politkovskaya. On the morning of July 15, 2009, she was abducted outside her home in Grozny. She was found shot dead the same day near the village of Gazi-Yurt in neighboring Ingushetia.

Russian investigators attributed the killing to a Chechen insurgent who had himself been killed, a version that Memorial and other rights groups rejected. On August 31, 2021, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that Russia had failed to conduct an effective investigation into her murder. No one has been convicted.
