Russian Election Interference Investigation House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) and ranking member Adam Schiff (D-CA) spoke with reporters about the status of their committee’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 elections. They announced they were sending letters to the heads of the FBI, CIA, and National Security Agency requesting names discovered over the last several months in connection with Russian interference in the 2016 election. Both also said they had seen no evidence supporting President Trump’s allegation that President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign.
