Guccifer 2.0 blog appears on WordPress claiming to be the ‘lone hacker’ behind the DNC hacks. The GRU officers behind the account were from Unit 74455. Before the first post, the GRU hackers searched for phrases that were used in the first post including, “some hundred sheets”, “some hundreds of sheets”, “dcleaks”, “illuminati”, “worldwide known”, “think twice about”, “company’s competence”. These words would appear in the first post of Guccifer 2.0 blog on WordPress.com run by the GRU officers.[i]
