Boris Epshteyn is a Republican strategist and television surrogate for Donald Trump. He worked as a senior policy adviser to Trump during the 2016 campaign and as the director of communications for the inauguration committee.
In October 2013, Epshteyn was focused on “Invest in Moscow” campaign with Sergey Chemerin. He has repeatedly denied that Russia seized the Crimea.
Epshteyn left the Trump communications staff in late March 2017. Epshteyn joined the Sinclair Broadcasting Group in April 2017. At the end of May 2017, Epshteyn was asked to testify to the House Intelligence Committee about his knowledge of Russian efforts to influence the 2016 election.
