In Britain

Britain was a Russian target from the onset. Why? Because it was the strongest ally, most recently, of the United States in the Iraq War and more specifically, the topic of middle eastern unrest, . Disrupting Britain was the closest thing to disrupting the United States. We enjoy each other:  Americans and Brits have long been fascinated by each other’s accents while sharing the common tongue with some amusing variations. And we were entertained with social distractions as is always the case when countries are crept up upon, unawares; In retrospect, our fantasy parallel universes believed we were perpetually impenetrable.   Our sophisticated intelligence operations at times transpired in unison, cooperatively, and were blind-sided – just as we were that fateful day of September 11, 2001 with the unexpected and yet simplistic measure of low budget terrorism that required nothing other than imagination, a choreographed effort and a large amount of malice. Remember our action films with the triumphant endings?  Remember the noir spy films where the missions were successful?  Remember when Brits and Americans alike believed there were never any vulnerabilities? And only to have our mutual thunder of a symbiotic relationship stolen by the mother of all bombs:  BREXIT.

BREXIT was the work of Putin. It is no coincidence that Julian Assange and Nigel Farage have met in London and that Julian Assange had appeared on Sean Hannity’s television show on FOX. Nigel Farage’s tweets on doctors being wrong about cigarettes causing cancer were the stuff of 1950’s Sci-Fi commercial breaks when big tobacco told every American that smoking was healthy. Such was the fantasy world of Geokrat Greedies…  Farage’s UKIP or UK Independence Party favored BREXIT and stronger ties with Russia. Nigel Farage once said that Putin was “the statesman I most admire”. And why not? Money is power.  Money is freedom. It is very tempting if Money is all that you love. Which brings us to be mindful of Donald J. Trump and how his attacks on Democracy have brought us closer and closer to being a flawed democracy losing the word “democracy” in its entirety.  Like Farage and his lack of respect for factual knowledge, Donald Trump gave us “Alternative Facts” served on a platter by a blonde woman who believed microwave ovens followed our every move in this political peristalsis. It is the rampant misspeaking and lack of tactical correction in an attempt to restore order that brings the United States closer and closer every day to the Geopolitical Chaos that Vladimir Putin craves. It is not normal to go after Christopher Steele legally for presenting information he had that he felt should be taken to law enforcement. None of this is normal and yet the longer this perseveres the more legitimate this behavior becomes in the eyes of world leaders and future leaders within the United States for the mere notion of setting precedent and believing in that precedent no matter how wrong it was and no matter how short-lived.

INDIVIDUALS:

NICK GRIFFIN
Perennial outcast Nick Griffin said, “If you tried to have a conference like this in the U.S. or the U.K., it wouldn’t be allowed.” In his mind “Russia has shown it is more free than the West.” But wat does freedom mean to Griffin? Considering his worn-out penchant for anti-immigrant nationalism that was so offensive to his right wing peers that he was repeatedly thrown out of their parties, Russia represents a place where his racist views find not only a home, but support.[i]

JIM DOWSON
Jim Dowson, former British National Party member known for his extreme right views on abortion and immigration supported Donald Trump’s campaign. Dowson was a founder of Britain First in 2011. He built a close working relationship with Aleksandr Dugin who helped him to set up shop in Hungary to drive the alt-right agenda.[ii] A longtime friend and business partner of Nick Griffin, Dowson sought to help racists move to Hungary to promote their efforts. Dowson was however expelled from Hungary as an “undesirable person” for his effort to join Knights Templar, an Eastern European white supremacist group.[iii]
